AKASHIC RECORDS: A library in the universe that contains information on all that has occurred and all that will occur in the life of anyone or in the universe itself.
ANGELICAL KINGDOM: Also known as the Angelic Hierarchy. This is divided into nine orders or types of spiritual beings: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Forces or Powers, Virtues, Princes or Principalities, Archangels, Angels.
ANGELS: Spiritual beings which are messengers of God.
ANGEOLOGY: The study of Angels.
ASANA: Name in Sanskrit of yoga postures. Originally, asana meant “seat” since it was the sitting posture in which the ancient yogis practiced meditation; The asanas were a means of improving the capacity of the body and mind so that the yogi could sit and meditate for long periods with as few distractions as possible.
ASCENDED MASTERS: Spiritual enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans, but who have undergone a series of spiritual transformations originally called initiations.
ARCHANGELS: Spiritual beings known as the “managers” of the angels since they are in a higher rank within the hierarchy of their kingdom. Its function is to assist us in the different areas of our lives.
ASTRAL TRAVEL: Extra-corporal experience projected outside the body that gives the possibility to experience of seeing one’s own body from the point of view of an external observer, as well as being able to travel outside of it through the universe moving to different places in consciousness and energy.
ATTACHED ENTITIES: Spirit forms attached to the aura of a living person.
AURA: The bio-magnetic cover that surrounds the physical body. It extends for about eighteen inches to three feet from the body and contains information about a person’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state of being.
AYAHUASCA: A brew from the Amazon that is traditional mixed of Chacruna(DMT) and Caapi(MAOI). The brew is used as a traditional spiritual medicine in ceremonies among the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin and nowadays is more and more common between people who is looking for natural healing not only in the spiritual side, but also on the body since it’s said that ayahuasca has some health benefits and satisfying intended effects on the user (This herb needs to be used under supervision of an expert because of the hallucinogen effects).
BETWEEN LIVES STATE: The state into which the soul moves out of a physical incarnation (passed away). The soul exists in this state in a subtle energy body, which carries the imprint of what happened to it in former lives. In this state also, the soul formulates its plan for the next life. The between lives state can be accessed by the soul during a physical incarnation in order to heal the past and access the purpose and plan for the present life.
BIOMAGNETIC FIELD: The energy field that surrounds all living things.
BODHISATTVA: Sanskrit term used in Mahayana Buddhism for a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so for the sake of others.
BRAHMA: The supreme god in Hinduism.
BUDDHA: The term Buddha means “enlightened one”, “a knower”, “one who is awake”. Buddha Shakyamuni was born in Siddhartha Gautama in Nepal around 2,500 years ago. He was a human being who became enlightened and is the founder of the Buddhist religion.
CHAKRA: A spinning vortex of subtle energy whirling as disks of light. There are seven main chakras located in a line aligned with the spine from the base to the crown of the head. These centers connect the energy of the physical body with the subtle body (energy body). The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit word for “wheel”.
CHANNELING: The process whereby information is passed from a light being or any other soul with none physical body via the voice and mind of a human being.
CHI: Energy or life force; a concept used in Taoism and Chinese medicine.
CHOICE/OPEN AWARENESS: Form of meditation in which there is no specific object, but one attends to whatever is occurring in the present moment.
CLAIRVOYANCE: Or “clear-seeing”, is the capacity of extrasensory perception that allows to receive information of future events.
CLAIRSENTIENCE: Or “clear-feeling”, is the is the ability to feel and experience the energy in an intuitive way.
CLAIRCOGNIZANCE: Or “clear-thinking”, is the ability to know without knowing how or why he or she knew; it “comes to” the user’s mind as an “Aha”! revelation.
CLAIRAUDIENCE: Or “clear-hearing”, is the ability to clearly hear those in Spirit, speaking to you externally or internally. In other words, you can hear Spirit speak out loud or within your mind.
CRYSTALS: A solid material whose constituents (such as atoms, molecules, or ions) are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all directions. Healing crystals are meant as spiritual supports to healing.
CRYSTAL HEALING THERAPY: An alternative medical technique in which crystals are used to cure ailments and protect against disease, placing gemstones into the body to draw out the energy and transmute it into a new vibration.
DANTIAN: The three main energy centers of the body, according to Taoist philosophy.
DEVIC KINGDOM: Home of devas or nature spirits, believed in esoteric thinking to inhabit and rule over nature such as trees, rivers, mountains, flowers. Devas are usually invisible to the human eye, but, when someone develop clairvoyant abilities, can communicate with them and gain intuitive access to the Devic kingdom, the energetic level where these spirits exist.
DHARMA: A key concept with multiple meanings in the Indian religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism. In Buddhism, dharma means “cosmic law and order”, and is also applied to the teachings of the Buddha. The term is also used in Sikhism and Hinduism to suggest “natural law” and it refers to the power which upholds the universe and society.
DIMENSION: A level of Consciousness.
DIS-EASE: State that results from physical imbalance, blocked feelings, suppressed emotions, negative thoughts.
EARTH CHAKRA: The chakra located between and slightly below the feet which holds the soul incarnation and links the physical body to Earth.
EARTH WARRIOR: One who fights for our planet Earth and defends the natural world from harm. Well known as an eco-friendly person.
ELEMENTALS: Beings like unicorns, fairies, mermaids, gnomes, goblins, etc. They usually inhabit and are in care of nature.
ENTITIES: Ethereal beings which are consider by humans as angels or demons.
ESOTERIC: Information refers to esotericism, the hidden meanings and symbolism of various philosophical, historical, and religious texts. It may also refer to information understood by a small group, which is kept secret for larger groups.
ESSENTIAL OIL: Concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants.
GOD: A supernatural being that is worshiped in different religions, which is usually attributed with the power over a specific realm of reality and about the destiny of humans, as well as being responsible for the creation of the universe and the mystery of existence. In spirituality, it is known as the maximum energy from which we all come and we recognize that we are part of that energy, which means we recognize that we are God in essence.
GROUNDING: The connection created between oneself and Planet Earth that allow excess and out of balance energies to flow from the body.
GROUNDING CORD: A vibrational energy cord that hooks into the center or Planet Earth and holds the etheric body and the soul in incarnation.
HEALING STONES: Crystals have been known and used for their powerful energetic healing properties. Each crystal has its own unique healing properties and are used for different purposes, some are best suited for healing the body and/or aura, to bring abundance and prosperity, while others are better for love, relationships and harmony, or even protection and shielding.
HIPPIE: A person with free spirit and peace lover; typically having long hair and wearing beads. Commonly found at music festivals, farmer’s markets, or among nature.
HOLISTIC: Also known as a “conscious living”, It’s usually defined as making conscious choices for a healthier environment. Holistic living consists of bringing harmony and balance to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of all living things, beyond the self.
HOLISTIC MEDICINE: Is a form of healing that considers the whole person (body, mind, spirit, and emotions) in the quest for optimal health and wellness.
HOMEOPHATY: A system of alternative medicine that stimulates the body’s healing power by introducing minute, diluted amounts of a substance that can cure the symptoms of a particular disease. Homeopathic treatment works with your body’s own healing powers to bring about health and well being. Homeopathy treats all your symptoms at all levels of your being: spiritual, emotional, mental and physical, finding the ‘like cures like’ match for them.
HOʻOPONOPONO: A Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness, recognizing that what I see in you is what is within me. The power is in the feeling and in the willingness of the Universe to forgive and love repeating four phrases: I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.
KARMA: Spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that individual. The actions could be in this and previous states of existence.
KUNDALINI: An inner spiritual energy that resides at the base of the spine. This energy can be stimulated to rise to the crown chakra.
KI: Unseen life force in a body and everywhere; universal energy that penetrates everywhere uniting all the manifestations of the universe, visible or invisible. In Japan it is known as “Ki“, In China it is known as “Chi” or “Qi” and in Sanskrit it is known as “Prana”
LEMURIA: An ancient civilization believed to predate Atlantis.
LIGHT BEEN: Ethereal beings of spiritual nature devoid of physical body. Their motivation or “intention” is to assist other beings of corporeal nature such as humans and animals.
LOVE: The highest frequency in which an individual can vibrate in and the highest state of consciousness. In the frequency of love, there is all, there is gratitude, peace, oneness, completion, creation and happiness.
MALA: String of beads use as an aid to meditation in Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism.
MANDALA: Buddhist spiritual image that symbolizes the universe and is used as an aid to meditation.
MANTRA: A word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation, and also it could be used to affirming its meaning to seep below the surface, into the subconscious, helping to shift habits and patterns that are not serving the person anymore.
MOTHER EARTH: The personification of nature that focuses on the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature by embodying it, in the form of a mother.
NATURAL HEALING: The activity of making a person healthy without using medicines or other traditional physical methods. Natural healing uses alternative therapies.
NEGATIVE ENERGY: A concept used in physics to explain the nature of certain fields, including the gravitational field and various quantum field effects.
NIRVANA: Enlightenment. The highest state of consciousness in Buddhism.
NUMEROLOGY: The study of numbers in the divine or mystical area. It can be used to uncover information about the world and also each individual person. Numerology is recognized as a universal language of numbers.
PEACE: A state of calm and serenity; feeling a sense of love for everything and everyone. Able to find stillness and bliss at each moment. Peace cannot be touched, but it can be found and felt.
PENDULUM: Small object hanging on a chain or string that helps to find water, gold, and gems, and also to get answers about life. A pendulum reacts to the subconscious mind; when someone holds a pendulum, it will react to the small nerve reactions from the fingers which are produced by the unconscious mind as a response to the question that has been asked.
PRANA: Cosmic energy, permeating the Universe on all levels;.Considered as a “life- giving force” or “life energy”.
PRANAYAMA: Regulation of the breath through certain techniques and exercises that are commonly applied in the practice of yoga.
PRANIC ENERGY: The energy that permeates everything; this is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes prana or ki energy to heal the whole physical body.. The word pranic comes from the sanskrit word “prana” which means “breath or vital life force”.
REALM: A particular level of consciousness in which an individual lives, so you can have an infinite number of realms within a dimension.
REIKI: A natural hands-on healing technique that flow a high frequency of energy transmitted to the patient through the hands of the practitioner. Rei = “Suprenatural force or spiritual intelligence”, Ki = “Life energy”.
SMUDGING: A method of energy cleaning and/or purification of any physical space or a person. The process involves passing by the smoke of burning herbs.
SOUL: The spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, which is known as immortal.
SOUL MATE: A person whose soul has a strong connection to your soul, meaning that you and that person have a feeling of deep or natural affinity. This may involve similarity in one or different ways like for example love, friendship, romance, comfort, intimacy, sexuality, sexual activity, spirituality, or compatibility and trust.
SOUL GROUP: Group of incarnated beings that connect with each other in a very deep way in the journey of life.
SPIRIT GUIDE: An entity (dis-incarnate soul) that remains as a spirit to act as a guide or protector to a living incarnated human being.
SPIRITUALITY: A belief in a supernatural (beyond the known and observable) realm, personal growth. A quest for an ultimate or sacred meaning, religious experience, or an encounter with one’s own “inner voice.”
STAR CHILDREN: Evolved beings from other planetary systems who have incarnated on planet Earth with a mission to help with spiritual evolution.
TANTRA: A Sanskrit word that means “a continuum, or unbroken stream of energy”. It refers to: First, the continuum of vital energy that sustains all existence, and second, the class of knowledge and practices that harnesses that vital energy, thereby transforming the practitioner.
TAROT: Deck of cards consisting of 78 cards consisting of numbered cards, and cards with symbolic figures. These cards are used as a divinatory instrument that serves to obtain information about the past, present and future, placing them on a surface in different ways. It can also be used to ask questions and get answers.
THIRD EYE: Chakra located between the eyes and slightly above the eyebrows. It’s known as the place for inner vision and intuition (clairvoyance).
TUMBLED: Term used to refer to stones that have been polished in a drum with grit, giving as a result a smooth and usually shiny stone.
TUMBLED STONES: Small, rounded, brightly polished pieces of rocks and minerals. Tumbled stones are made by placing rough rocks in a machine known as a rock tumbler, which tumbles them until their edges and surfaces are smooth and polished.
VIBE HIGHER: To consciously choose a state of mind that is in tune with your soul’s highest purpose. A daily practice that includes trusting your intuition, living in peace, choosing love and focusing on positivity.
VIPASSANA: Method of self-observation and Buddhist meditation that means insight into the true nature of reality.. The vipassana meditation technique is a process of self-purification through self-observation.
VISION QUEST: A Native American shamanic practice which involve isolation in a wild, natural environment, in order to commune with nature and confront fears.
YAGE: Another way to call Ayahuasca (see its meaning in letter A).
YOGA: A physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in India. Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing exercises, yoga poses and meditation. The ultimate goal of practicing yoga is to attain tranquility in the mind and spirit.
YOGI: A person who practices yoga. Usually, a yogi sees the physical practice as more than just a simple exercise. A yogi embraces philosophies of kindness, compassion, and generosity.
ZEN: Derived from the Chinese word “chán” and the sanskrit word “dhyana,” which mean “meditation.” In sanskrit, the root meaning is “to see, to observe, to look.” A state of calm attentiveness in which one’s actions are guided by intuition rather than by conscious effort. In other words, enlightenment by direct intuition through meditation.
